A native New Yorker of both Puerto Rican and Indonesian decent. Aisha's dance training as a young girl began at "Copani Ballet Isleño" in Puerto Rico. Finding herself back in NYC Aisha Koswara established herself as the co-founder of the ABAKUA Afro-Latin Dance Company and has traveled and performed for international audiences worldwide.

She has starred as the principal dancer in the Movie "El Cantante" along side Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Featured on the cover and in the film documentary "We Like It Like That".
